Lets talk about the parts:
I bought most of the parts from guitarfetish.com under their XGP series. They emulate the vintage styles pretty well and are pretty cheap compared to other companies like warmoth or all parts.
I got a maple neck (21 fret), double bound cream body, vintage cream pickguard, vintage style brass tuners, round string tree, string ferrules, plate cover, and knobs for volume and tone.
I bought dunlop strap locks, and the input jack plate from All parts.
250K volume and tone knobs, 4 way switch, and a bone nut from Big John's guitars
Mastery Tele bridge and Joe Barden modern tele pickups from their websites
Stainless steel frets from Luthier's Mercantile
Finally a stock Fender guitar strap from guitar center.
We flipped around the plate where the switch and knobs are to give me better access to the volume knob for swells and whatnot and added a "fat" position on the 4 way switch for a super big sound.
This guitar is super sweet, you will for sure be seeing me playing it in the near future. (pics below)
